Men, what does biblical manhood look like?
Starting Tuesday, February 18 at 7 p.m., Trent Suchy will lead you in a study on Dennis Rainey’s book, Stepping Up, A Call for Courageous Manhood.

Discover what it means to step up and live a courageous life. Based on his book by the same title, Dennis Rainey and other ministry leaders unpack what biblical manhood looks like. Stepping Up defines courage throughout the five stages of manhood, man’s journey through life – boyhood, adolescence, manhood, mentor, and patriarch, examines a man’s responsibilities at each step, and commissions men to honestly evaluate where they stand in their duties of masculinity. Each of us face decisions and stages in life that demand courage. Big or little, complex or straightforward, these choices, or call them battles, matter a great deal.

Rainey calls men to seize the moment and take action, stepping up to responsibility and inspiring others in the process. It’s about embracing courage, rejecting both passivity and cowardice.

Today, more than ever, the world needs godly men. Men who will step up and courageously lead at home, at church, at work, and in their communities. That’s the message of Stepping Up. In a world where too many men are shrinking back, Stepping Up gives men vision and tools to live godly, courageous lives.

And, Trent will even have a pot of coffee ready.

The group will meet each Tuesday for 10 weeks at Trent Suchy’s home – 10 SE 20 Road – Go south on Highway 281 (Main Street) to Hart’s Corner, turn right (west) onto SE 20 Road. Go 3/4 of a mile west. Ranch style brick house on the northeast corner of SE 20 Road and SE 1 Ave.
