You Can’t Outgive God

You Can’t Outgive God

When we talk about giving, most people automatically assume we’re talking about money. But, our money & possessions are some of the least things God has given us! Instead, if we think about the totality of what God has given us- life, breath, food for today, mercy, grace, forgiveness, and so much more- we have to realize that generous living isn’t about “stuff” or money. God has called us to give freely as we’ve been given instead of clenching our fists and hanging on tight- with our money, love, kindness, mercy, forgiveness, time, talent- everything we are & have. Try living generously and see what happens when you’re no longer a slave to greed, but free to live from an attitude of gratitude.

Saved People Serve People

Saved People Serve People

The second of our church’s core values: Saved People Serve People comes directly from Jesus’ lips. He made it abundantly clear that our job was to serve- because while every servant isn’t saved, everyone who is saved must be a servant. The simple truth is our uniqueness is made up of six components- our Spiritual gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, and Experiences. Our unique SHAPE helps us know where to serve. The challenge is- are we living into our place as servants? Join us as we unpack the truth in this simple phrase.

Rooted in Humility: One Body

In Ephesians 4.1-16 Paul lays out the only path to unity in the church and our part in maintaining unity. It’s not unity at all costs, but unity in Christ that matters- because we are all members of the same body! As members of the same body, we have a unique function- no one else or other part can fill. Are you contributing to the work of our body (the church)? Because you are called to carry your weight and contribute to what God is doing!
